  • The Ellen MacArthur Foundation's Circular Economy Philosophy

A circular economy is restorative and regenerative by design, and aims to keep products, components, and materials at their highest utility and value at all times.

A concept that distinguishes between technical and biological cycles,
the circular economy is a continuous, positive development cycle.
It preserves and enhances natural capital, optimizes resource yields,
and minimizes system risks by managing finite stocks and renewable
flows. A circular economy works effectively at every scale.

  • The Ellen MacArthur Foundation's New Plastics Economy Initiative

The New Plastics Economy is an ambitious, 3 year initiative
to build momentum towards a plastics system that "keeps
the molecule in play." Applying the principles of the circular
economy, it brings together key stakeholders to rethink and
redesign the future of plastics, starting with packaging.

  • The US EPA Sustainable Materials Management Strategy

Sustainable materials management (SMM) is a systemic approach
to using and reusing materials more productively
    over their entire
life cycles. It represents a change in how our society thinks about
the use of natural resources and environmental protection. By
looking at a product's entire life cycle, we can find new ways
to reduce environmental impacts, conserve resources and reduce costs.

  • The USDA BioPreferred  Program

Managed by the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA), the goal
of the BioPreferred Program is to increase the use of biobased
products. The increased development, purchase, and use of
biobased products reduces our nation's reliance on petroleum,
increases the use of renewable agricultural resources, and
contributes to reducing adverse environmental and health impacts

Note: NuPlastiQ CG contains 100% USDA Certified Biobased Content.

  • Sustainable Packaging Coalition

The Sustainable Packaging Coalition is a membership-based
collaborative that believes in the power of industry to make packaging
more sustainable. Its mission is to bring packaging sustainability stakeholders
together to catalyze actionable improvements to packaging systems
and lend an authoritative voice on issues related to packaging sustainability.

  • The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR)

The Association of Plastic Recyclers (APR) represents the plastics
recycling industry, APR works to enhance quality and increase
supply through technical resources, testing programs, design
solutions, corporate training, regulatory leadership and
    education programs.
